I know, problem being that nobody has them in stock, once they are in stock, the price will drop. I found a local store that has the 64gb in stock right now... Hence why I'm trying to sell the 64gig.

If it doesn't work out with the seller there is a way to cancel your bid Here

I understand ein chadash tachas hashemesh so this idea while new to me, is most likely old news to people out there.

Does anyone know if I could sell an item on ebay with my wife's account and buy it with my account, and pay with ebay gift cards? Would it work, are there risks, does eBay look into this stuff? Is it riskier to sell a paper clip or something else worthless for $1,000 or should I actually be listing iphones and lap tops and stuff if I am trying to use high numbers?

Ebay follows accounts very closely. Doing this will likely get an suspension.

If you would want to something like this, get a friend of yours to list it. Ebay will link your and your wifes account.

+1 usually not worth it. Very few exceptions.

Gotcha. Or I'll just list it, and have various friends buy it from me, using the gift cards I give them, same difference. Right?

Yea, Roughly 9%.

If you sell over a $600 item, its worth the $15.95 Monthly fee to have an eBay store. Fees will be less

Its 9% first $50, then 4.5% till $1000 (for most items) + PayPal 3%

The site just says 9% of total value up to $250, are you sure that it's 4.5% from 50-1000?
