Sold 2 items 2 different listings to the same buyer.

Ebay customer service claims that if I combine the items and ship them together I wont get paypal seller protection...

Is that true?

What if you write to the buyer to tell him you're combining shipping?  Then he's just expecting 1 tracking #.

not really about what he's expecting... I'm worried about the PayPal seller protection...

If the item was less than $750 then just tracking is enough proof on ebay. IME if he opens a case you will win and he won't be able to leave feedback.

Thanks. Should I be proactive in contacting ebay or let it play out?

Your choice. I usually send a message something like this:

Hi, thank you for contacting me. I am very sorry that you did not receive your package. The current information from the USPS shows that the package was delivered on xxx , at xxxpm. Please check with a neighbor or perhaps with a family member if they got the package. I also suggest asking your postal worker about the package or please contact your local post office.

Btw, did you purchase the label on ebay?

Let it play out. If he opens a case it should close automatically in your favor once you add the tracking. However, if he does not open a case and decides to leave feedback - not sure if you can do anything about that.

He already opened a case, and the tracking was already there. In addition I sent it again  with screenshots so hopefully we'll be good. Thanks.

Is there any way to set my credit card as a funding source to pay for shipping labels?
Currently PayPal is charging my bank account every time I purchase a label.

I inputted a GC for an ebay order, but never actually placed the order. Does the card get linked to that account ?

IDK but I think gift cards that are saved to an eBay account show up during checkout when you click on pay with gift cards/eBay bucks.

Find an item that requires instant payment and checkout without buying it.

I believe that unless the order is placed its good, even if you place it and you get an error it's still ok

Listed an item for sale on eBay and I'm getting a bunch of offers from new buyers with 0 feedback.

What's that supposed to mean?
