Sprint/Virginmobile
« on: November 06, 2010, 10:47:35 PM »
My wife needs a new phone. I want to get her a prepaid model for the time being. What prepaid companies are compatible of Sprint that I can just switch her to the prepaid phone? Is Virgin Mobile?

Thanks

I don't think any Sprint MVNOs officially allow you to activate Sprint phones on their network. (but that doesn't mean it isn't possible)

From what I understand that is the official word. There may be methods of getting a Sprint ESN active on VM, I know I've seen people advertising that they'll get a Sprint phone active on Boost CDMA (data features might not work).

If virgin allows outside ESNs a razr can be flashed to virgin software. though it might not be worth your time figurin out how to do it.
