my younger brother, mid teen.
BTW: Our Yishmaelisha cousins have hacked the leading site on this topic. http://www.guardyoureyes.org/I actually am encouraged by this. They don't hack mostlymusic.com.Know what I mean?p.s. The video is amazing: R' Twerski's letter made me cry....
Unreal. How long have they been compromised?Btw - which video are you talking about?
So an update on OpenDNS: I set my routers DNS addresses to OpenDNS preconfigured for family filter. Tried accessing a blocked domain, got a blocked page. Pinged a blocked domain, got the IP of the OpenDNS blocked page instead. Used the actual IP of the blocked domain, that worked and I got access to the site. Changed the DNS addresses of the wireless card on my laptop from dynamic to static and used Google's DNS addresses (126.96.36.199, 188.8.131.52), that also worked and now I was able to access blocked sites by domain name.
Just wondering, How many kids can pull that off?
i run the computer in a yeshiva and use openDns.....trust me, kids have no problem getting around these things.......there is a solution to the internet filter but this is not it
A) How do they get around it?
