IME they always allowed me to exchange shirts for different sizes... however I did have an issue once when trying to exchange a sweater, since they didn't carry it in store anymore...

No, I'm saying that if a shirt is dirt cheap and the company is assumed to be making a profit, you are getting substandard material and labor.
