Worked for me last night, and for the last 3 years.

for the in market game issue, I used Chrome/Firefox extension Stealthy and it worked on and off. Still looking for a better proxy service.

How long would 1.5GB last for, using it only for MLB?

do you have a good easy proxy to overcome that?
I'm currently using the chrome extension Stealthy and it is as simple as ever and is working great so far.
I even disabled the extension once the game started streaming and it is continuing to stream no problem, even with the extension off.

Don't worry its working fine  :)

Wow, just found out about no YankeesOnYes this year. That really stinks. Have been watching for 2 nights from streams, and they are just terrible.

Any ideas how to watch in-market games w/o paying for cable?

Doesn't look like anything. It was always associated with MLB.TV so MLB might have decided they didn't want it anymore.

Guess I'll just listen on the radio to " it is high it is far it is gone...sorry, it was strike 3 " - so annoying.

I know many don't care for John Sterling, but I happen to love him.

LOL Can't stand him and her. He gets just as excited when the opposing team scores as he does when the Yankees score. I absolutely think the announcers should be fans of their team exclusively.

He's very entertaining. But blind as a bat & his HR calls have gotten out of hand.
