Not only was the WW thicker, but it was also more cracked, go figure.

Nothing surprising or rocket science required to figure that out.

WW is harder to work with, and simply breaks apart much more than white flour based doughs. That is why it's thicker (or else there would be 0 shleimos), and they simply are more brittle.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

WW from Montreal and Shatzer were not problematic at all.

They probably use less WW.

I found the thickness of CH Matzos to be very inconsistent. Care to share your methods of packing and storing?
I believe I posted before, that having your matzos packed in 2lbs (or 1lb) corrugated boxes, opening them up only as needed, goes a long way in keeping moisture out and maintaining crispness. Also storing in a places with low to no humidity will help.

My pupa tzeilim were delicious as usual. They put them into a bag for the first time this year. A bunch broke while taking them out.

I got upset after the first box when I only found 1 whole Matzah, second and third boxes were better B"H

Is it really worth nearly double the price of P/T?

If you can afford it, yes.

Can't get it in CLE anyway, so it's a moot point. Was very happy with the P/T 1/2 WW.
Apparently they tried once, but it turned into matza meal...

I had 6 Erev Pesach matzos from Chareidim, tasteless. Maybe when I become old and the only thing I consider is my teeth.

They are as thin as paper and the taste follows....

BH my methods for keeping matzos crispy worked very well this year. Even the thicker matzos were crispy and crunchy, and the flavor was excellent (WW, though I think next year I will insist on a higher percentage of WW, not sure, as those are likely to be a lot more brittle). My daughter also had CH Chabura Matzos, as well as some P/T spelt, and she didn't like any of it. I was somewhat surprised because in past years we've got some spelt from CH, and they were by far the most delicious matzos.

I guess I’ll agree to disagree. Everyone I met thinks Charedim is best and it’s not even close.

Only if you need really thin matzah, like someone who can't eat a cracker. Other than that there is no point. They claim the award for the most tasteless matzah.

And $40.50 for Spelt.

(Above prices quoted before I mentioned my special packing instructions, which keep Matzos nice and crispy. I expect those instructions to raise the price).
