I got this (Travelers Choice Siena 21 inch Hybrid Garment)about a year and a half ago, used for about 10 trips. One of the handles just cracked, but I got it from Amazon, and I chatted and they will refund me. I will have to mail it back, but will buy it again, unless i find a brand name that makes this.

Funny. I have the same one. Also bought it about a year and a half ago (January 30, 2013). The handle also broke recently. Never thought to have a chat with Amazon about it...

This 28' has a separate suit compartment. if you wrap your suit in the cleaners plastic, works well and doesnt crease. It's better to put right before you check it in and take out as soon as you arrive. Suit folds in 2. Room for 2 suits, 3 shits. They have a 21' as well but the suit folds in 3 and doesn't do the job well. Does anyone know a real small garment bag as carry on?

I got this one as it was the only suit bag I could find that had wheels and didn't roll the horizontal way, but rather stood upright like most suitcases. I didn't want the horizontal ones as I feel like they are too wide for easy travelling. It's actually kinda cool how it folds the suit - it's a tri-fold, not a bi-fold. I bought it simply for going away for Shabbos, and have not yet taken it as a carryon on any flights, though. From the airlines I've checked with, it's not a perfect fit. An inch too big this way, 2 inches that way, but 3 inches small enough that way, etc. So that will depend on how strict the airline is I guess. Just a warning, my suits usually come out with a few creases, although I can't imagine any suitcase where that doesn't happen.

I'm in the market for a new carry-on/suit bag. This seems decently priced but pretty much all reviews say its not a quality build and the handle doesn't really last. Does it feel sturdy and have you heard of any airlines giving issues with the size?

The handle on mine broke after 2 years.
Used on dozens of flights (mostly AA/US) , never has an issue with size. However, many of these were small planes where they automatically gate checked the roll-ons and delivered them plane-side.

Are there any other duffel bags similar to these ? It seems like the Costco ones are not available anymore.

Looks cool, but I'm wondering if you put a suit in there along with heavy stuff how would the suit not get wrinkled?

Anyone use: Samsonite Movelite Extreme 21" carry on? Does it fit properly in the overhead bins?

I got the Launch II 21" Spinner Upright and have the same question. Most airlines only allow 9x14x22". The 21 inch is larger than the rules allow. I'm sure it will fit in the bins (although maybe not vertically), but will the airlines allow it or are they likely to catch it and refuse it?

Only in Europe where everyone is so square and rigid they'll give you problems. In America 99% of the time they won't care.
