Booked each night at Hollywood as a separate reservation, that counts as an extra stay towards elite status. (2 reservations x 2 nights = 4 nights + 4 stays)

Yea. I tried the double reservation thing by the Sheraton Brooklyn thing and it worked (+1000 bonus starpoints on each reservation for club room promo).
That counted as 2 stays since it's 2 separate confirmation numbers.
