Transfering text messages from phone to computer
« on: August 05, 2008, 07:48:41 PM »
Anyone know if its possible to transfer text messages from a cell phone to computer? I'm using a Nokia 2610 which has no bluetooth or USB option. Do phones that have those options make it possible to transfer?

A text message is only 160 characters long. In the amount of time it would take to find a solution, you could have retyped it into a notepad file. :P

My phone does not give an option of forwarding to an email. Does yours?

I'm looking for a better solution then that. My phone is getting full and I have many texts I want to save.

It sounds like a phone such as yours doesn't support any sync options, so you're out of luck anyway. Seriously, dude... you could probably type up every message stored on your phone in under 10 minutes.
I guarantee you'd have to spend more time than that making some automated solution work, and that's assuming that it were somehow possible.

Thanks for the typing idea but I'm looking for an automated option. Do you have a sync option? I'm asking the people that have a sync option on their phone whether it allows them to transfer text messages.
