I don't know the ages in question, but that seems like a father/son issue rather than a F/J product question.

Not sure if "hope I can convince him" is a good strategy. I would say, offer the info (and other people's opinions), point out the differences and let him make the choice, and be happy with whatever he chooses. Different people have different feelings and preferences.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

there's no issue I want the best for him but he is stubborn and always goes with cx j so its hard to break habits

Luckily he will be trying KE F for the first time on the way there after always going KE J. hopefully that will open his eyes!

Those are common issues beyond a certain age.

Which is why I am saying, don't risk your relationship. If anything goes wrong with JAL F, that memory can become deeply engraved, along with who's idea it was.

I know you want the best for him, but it's not always what you think it might be. Once he experiences F, he might be open to a suggestion, don't push it. Is CX J non-stop bad? JAL F might be a far superior product, but it involves a connection.

it definitely wont risk our relationship. But I think you are right. Ill let him experience KE F (the only reason he is doing that is J wasnt available ::) ) and let him try JAL F next time.

Flying with wife and 2 kids lax-gru. Options are through ord or ewr on 772 3 clas. biz is 2-4-2; or through iad on 764 2-1-2; or through iah on 763 2-1-2. None of us are particularly tall fwiw. Which is the best hard product?

Also, I'm booking through OZ, and only the long haul segments have biz availability. What's the procedure to maximize chances to get biz on the domestic segment too?

First time booking J, so go easy on me. TIA

Thanks, forgot about that TR. Seems like people have had very varied experiences with the crew, Lucky also had a terrible experience like Dan's but some others, (Zack Honig and Mattew from Live and Let's fly) had great experiences with the crew.
