No one ever flew from NYC to GRU first class? 😏

When JJ had their F, I flew it from JFK to GRU.

NYC-DXB-GRU
NYC-FRA-GRU
NYC-ZRH-GRU

..or just do NYC-GRU in AA F, but it's not worth the premium over J.

I have two options:
Both have about 10 hours in Paris and in J

1. JFK-CDG-SEZ on AF A380
2. LGA-BOS-CDG-SEZ with 4 hour layover in BOS and AF 777

Is the A380 so bad that its worth taking the extra stopover? Both flights leave 6ish pm so I know I wont be getting much sleep before landing.

AF 777 J is a beautiful product. IIRC the A380 Has angle flat in J.

What's with the rear facing J seats on the UA777?
Weird or ok?

You mean the dorm room? The 2 section wasn't bad and it's fun flying backwards, like the back of a station wagon.

What if you're flying alone? Still fun?

I have been reading some of the review on LH F (various bloggers) and they all seem to agree that their product is going downhill.
JFK-MUC
Currently have 2 J class (Austrian) Trying to figure out if its worth changing my tickets ($250 fee) to switch to LH F + I need to add another stop over.
Any opinions on LH F Recently?
(If is was a switch to something like Cathay I wouldn't think twice, just with all the poor reviews Im seeing not sure what to do?)

What's going downhill? I had a wonderful experience two months ago.

Dunno, just a few of the bloggers have been writing that older planes tired first class, not such comfort seats and service is hit or miss.

My flight was great on all three of those, FWIW.

If flying JFK-MUC  "F" then connection MUC-FRA "J"
Does that still allow me to utilize the Porsche and can I access F lounge at either airport?

SQ J FRA-JFK, flying with my wife. I assume best choice of seats are 2 middle seats? Any reason to get 2 seats behind each other by window instead?

IMO Waste of miles to go LH F eastbound. Its to short a flight to make it worthwhile. I do J eastbound, and F westbound.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

Do J seats all have direct aisle acess?

I've heard similar logic. Eastbound is generally overnight so you are sleeping and can't enjoy the product. Westbound is usually day so you may nap an hour or 2, but can enjoy the product more
