I'm spg gold, how do i become platinum without doing the stays?
(everyone here on DansDeals who are plat. did the stays to become platinum?)

Only way is through status matching. Though, you would have to have top-tier status with a competing hotel...

He can always change his address to match the Plat and wait 30 days which should work if the Plat doesnt need the points back right away.

Thanks Mikeocacle, It's only for someone who does not need the points right away or had plenty of points. I would need a total of 44,000 points.
