Anyone else majorly affected by Spring Valley village taxes now following the town of Ramapo assessed values?  My village taxes went up over 40%. Someone else's must have gone down by that amount in order to even things out!

From what I heard, Spring Valley is trying to fix this mess and is in process of trying to redo the tax bill.

They told me that as well but they did not have a clue about how they were actually going to do it.

Would be really great if we could get rid of most of the extra costs of the village. Having our own police department is costing us a fortune.
