I am not sure why you think so lowly of these forums to say that obviously this guy isn't making a chain. Second of all u are assuming the forums is the only place he Is asking. Thirdly u come taste the coffee/baked goods and decide for yourself if it should be a chain :-)

If the person asking was actually thinking of starting a chain he would:
1) Be surveying more than 7 people.
2) Be asking many more questions.
3) Would be paying $10 or so per person to fill out the survey.

Big companies do market analyses all the time. This is not one of them.

The plan this guy has for the coffee shop is to open one in queens and then if it is successfful then maybe open up branches. He is not a major corporation which can throw away money fjust like that. Rather he is a mid 30"s frum fellow who has dreams and follows them pretty much no matter what

unfourtanatley it is not a friend of mine but rather a relative of mine (not that i am not freinds with him) therefore i have very little say in the matter. However superfly i appreciate your support and i agree whole heartily with you

Can you please find out if he's looking for someone to manage it. I have a friend with experience, he might be interested.

I don't get it. This guy keeps shabbos but will have someone else run his coffee shop on shabbos?

There is a halacha that one may keep his business open on shabbos if he works out some sort of deal that all saturday profit goes to the goy. Don't know all details but something like that. I will for sure iyh speak with my bro in law about having a manager. If he says yes I will contact you

This may not be the best fit for my friend, he has management experience, and is looking to help a business grow, not to make/serve lattes.
