i'm going to be a first time car renter. i'm particularly interested in weekend 1/28-1/31. i know enterprise is having a special, $9/day on weekends. can it get any better?

I just did that deal.   It's the best price you will find.
Find out :
A) If the location you want to rent by participates in the promo (not all of them do)
B)If the promo will still be going on then
C) I believe there is a 100 Mile (100 KLM in Canada) per day limit. Not too bad if you won't be using it on Shabbos, but still, 300 miles isn't that much if you're going out of town.
I paid $35 total after everything for a 3 day rental!

It wont combine with a corporate so if you are underage then you have to pay the corporate rate or the $9 a day and pay the underage fee

Most policies cover liability on rental cars.
But you should double-check that and check that you're covered under the policy as well.

21-25 is underage with enterprise....some companies charge approx. 15-25 dollars per day in underage fees...the only way to find out if your covered is to call up your insurer and ask them

Sorry recheck ur facts. It`s illegal to charge the CDW mandatory in NYS and many other states.

@hocker yes im talking about liability as cdw is about $25 per day. with liability there is a state minimum that the car rental company has to cover, usually about $10,000 but that is not nearly enough if u have an accident. by paying for the liability ur usually covered for about $1,000,000 and if u purchase insurance the state minimum doesn't apply to u anymore.

just keep in mind when making reservations with enterprise on line at night for the next day in the morn. you aren't guaranteed a car right away in the morning even if you received an email confirmation
