I never understood racism.(I do love Jews more than people of all other races.)
Somebody needs a wake up call.
Please explain.
You favor one race over another. You don't see this as a form of racism?
No. You favor your family, community, race, nationality etc., that's not racism. Racism is hating people from a particular race.
So if I give a job to a white person over a black person because I love white people more that is not a form of racism?
I thought this was obvious.
The only ones it is obvious to is the followers of the religion in question. Very cute way to say a particular religion is not racist.
I probably am the shallow one. After all I am the one that surrounds myself with individuals that all think basically the same way.Any chance I can get an answer to this simple and probably shallow question? So if I give a job to a white person over a black person because I love white people more that is not a form of racism?I do see a difference between like/hate. The problem is the fine line between them. You say if I love whites more than blacks that means I hate blacks more. But when it comes to you that does not apply. Now it is time for me to
This is conversation is getting nowhere...
I think we can agree on that.
I did answer the job to white over black. Are you even reading my responses? This is conversation is getting nowhere, but I'll try one more time.First of all: Whites and Blacks is not the same thing as Christians and non Christians. Because there is a bond of Religion, but skin color is not a bond.Second: Racism means disliking people of a certain race. Not - loving more strongly people of your own Religion, Nationality etc.If that would be racism, then every person cheering for their country in the Olympics would be racist.
I think ethnicity or culture is a stronger bond than religion on its own. Maybe religion combined with culture is stronger, but I still think ethnicity is the strongest. And btw, racism typically involves some form of dislike, but the actual definition doesn't require it: "the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, [especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.]"
But there is no bond between whites. There is no bond between blue eyed people. The only reason there can be a bond between whites is a belief that black people are inferior (or superior).
You say there is no bond so that makes it so?
