Agreed. Another bonding factor between similar looking people can be being a minority (especially a minority looked down upon).

That doesn't apply to Whites in America.

The only bond between a White Jew and White WASP that is not shared with a Black, is not being Black. That's a racist bond.

I understand your point but don't agree with it. Your views are based on religion. That is why you will never understand the other side. On the other hand I could be way off base and your views are not based on religion.

I think they are based on a very primal instinct that always views the world as a 'ours' and 'theirs' that can only be overcome through a conscious effort...

No. Because being that Racism does exist, Blacks and Whites today ARE 2 different communities.

There is a small sense of community between Whites, because Racism separated Blacks and Whites. If you'd hire a White over a Black, I don't think you can blame it on that small sense of community, if you feel an affinity at work where you are a minority, you can blame it on that.

I think I am getting this. Whites don't really bond it is just a sense of community. When a Jew has a connection with another Jew that he has never met before and from another country he has never been to is this bonding or a sense of community.
