Right on Union Turnpike. Close to GCP to get to LGA. They open at 12 but they do have fast service. Pita's are delicious and I personally love their chicken soup - not that watery stuff you get from other places. Pretty much everything is delicious.
they have really good chummus as well.

You don't want to start the best kosher pizza debate. Go to L'Bella for fine dairy, otherwise I find Pizza Professor far superior. They only sell pies (smallest is 10") but make them fresh to order. Call when you're 10 minutes away and they'll start preparing it for you.

LBella for Pizza, Elite Cafe for good dairy (or Lbella) and go nice with Hapisga or heimish with Grill Point if looking for fleishigs.
Chinese is not KGH's biggest strength.

I thought Dan's flight was 12:30. Oops.

Definitely do Hapisgah. Amazing pitas, steaks, and more.

What's recommended at Marani?

The various kebab skewers are great and really priced well.

What's recommended at Marani?

These are the ones we enjoyed:

Bread
Dips/condiments
Blintzes (though I think they don't have those in the summer)
Khanahi
Chicken Tabaka
Bronzino Entree
DDF FFB (Forum From Birth)

Popped into Turquoise today for lunch. The lunch special is pretty solid - salad, a main with 2 sides, and dessert for $23. We had israeli salad, greek salad, grilled salmon x2, fries, basmati rice, grilled tomato and steamed vegetables, with 2 bisquit cakes for dessert. Everything was very good, though the salmon was slightly drier than I'd have liked if you don't squeeze the lemon slice they give you over it. We were able to use one of the Restaurant.com $10 off certificates we got for free from T-Mobile, which essentially covered tax and tip, leaving us a total of $46 for 2. I did think it was a little weird that they seemingly put an 18% gratuity on the initial bill - without seemingly a way to lower it, and then still left a space for gratuity on the receipt you sign.

Arriving JFK 9:40am, departing LGA 2:30pm.
Where should I eat?
Where did you go in the end? Hapisgah, Chosen Island, Marani's are good choices.

The first 3 sections here represent the choices correctly, though it's $23 not $21:

The seasonal pasta choices were spaghetti marinara or some penne dish (don't remember the details).

Looking for a place that can deliver to JFK on sunday night
Seems most of the food apps dont deliver to JFK.
Can anyone recommend a place to order food that would be good to take as a BYOK?
Has anyone here ever ordered food from a nearby place to be delivered to JFK?
Id rather not play the "call in order/request uber/call uber" game if i dont have to.

Didn't find a Queens master thread.
A friend's birthday is this upcoming Sunday,
Is there anywhere that would deliver a birthday cake and or balloons?
Or any other ideas what I can send?
She's traveling on Monday with her 3 month old baby for the first time. Maybe something for the flight?
