Membership Rewards phone Rep said you have up to 2 billing cycles to call and request Pay With points, so if you don't have enough points in your account at the time, you could pay with the cc and call a month later when you have enough points to pay for it. Is that true? or DROPR?

DROPR

Rep was referring to something else. You can "pay" with points for purchases you already bought. Example: you bought a flight for $100 so now you have a bill for $100. You can either pay with money (bank transfer, check, etc') or you can "pay" with about 10,000 points. In any case the rates are pretty terrible and you never get more than 1 cpp.
If your intention is to use MR for flights and get back 50% of the points than this is something completely different.

Oh...yeah, that is totally off... She did say that because sometimes you don't get back the 50% back automatically, that's why they have the ability to do it manually. So it does sound like they have that ability for 50% back..

Thanks!

Called to have points expedited. Said could only do spend points, not bonus. Said OK. Rep tried it, then said, it didn't work because the spend is tied to the bonus points. I checked account. All the points posted. From then on, all the bonus points post right away.

When buying airline tickets with points, it frst posts with $, then points. Does this count toward min spend? Machlokes between phone reps. Does anyone have experience? Thanks.

Don't rely on it.

I've asked before but not gotten an an answer, how do you see how many points you earned for a given purchase? Chase has a list of purchases, and your earnings for each, can this even be seen with amex?

So how do people know if they've earned for their pay with points flights? Add all my transactions for the month?

I'm not, unless someone can confirm that it counts. Anyone?

Only if booked directly with an airline.

OTA's are different than traditional travel agents.

I see the MR homepage
Exactly. Login and look at the recent MR activity. Did I misunderstand your question?
