Recently upgraded Gold to Plat. From 4/9-4/26 I have the .5x points posting right away within 2 day of the charge. Charges from 4/30-5/3 didnt post and were just added to the total pending for the statement.

Is it against forum rules to offer to buy a ticket for someone with points? I don't think it's against T&Cs of the CCs; it's not like selling points.

As far as the CC terms, I believe you can book for someone else, but not in exchange for anything, cash or otherwise

I have the business platinum card and I have United as my airline for 50% back on points. This card is registered under my name as a sole proprietor business. Now I just received in the mail a targeted offer for a separate business that I own. Its a C-Corp with its own EIN. Will I be able to get the sign up bonus again if i apply for this card considering its a separate entity, or because i have a card for another business of mine that i already got the offer on does that mean that i cant receive the bonus again no matter what?

Also, if i get the card (regardless of the bonus), could i set the 50% back airline as a different airline so that could have United for my first card and, say, AA for this new one? Will I be able to move the points from the MR account that i currently have points in to the new business account so i could use the points for the new cards selected airline? Is it all the same MR account even if its 2 separate businesses?

Any insight into this would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can have 2 mr accounts for 2 different cards.

Doesn't every offer have the standard language that you cant have the bonus if you have had the bonus already in the past? Every card from every bank says something along those lines, either you cant have had the bonus since xyz or, in the case with amex, you cant have had the bonus ever....there are offers that have no fine print regarding the bonus?

every public offer does. There are targeted no language offers out there
