Signed up Jan 19 for ink card. HUCA recon multiple times and kept getting the same person.

Should I try a recon HUCA now or is it too late?

I just got charged for my ink card after the one year free. I have over 70,000 UR points. I have United mileage, Marriot points and some others. Where would you folks recommend I switch my points to before calling them to cancel the card? TIA

If you're not ready to use them yet you could transfer them to a CSP.

How about a freedom ? Or a spouse with freedom, CSP, or an ink ?

None of those. I thought the Freedom won't allow you to move it into an airline or something like that. Is the CSP free for the first year? I just got United Explorers for myself and my wife along with soon to be had 55,000+ each. I was wondering if I should move it there for a future Israel trip. I'm so confused!!

csp is free first year. Freedom can't transfer to airlines but you could transfer it back to CSP or ink in the future.

In general its a good idea to open a Freedom. 5% categories are nice, decent benefits for a no annual fee card, and 22,500 UR points now after spending $500 in three months. Seems like a good deal to me.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Just sign up fast, opening bonus goes down to 12,500 after June 30, I think. Someone please correct me on the date if I'm wrong.

Do you plan on applying for another ink soon ? If not, you might wanna try to get them to waive the fee. If you do the 5% at office supply stores it pays to have this card even with the AF.
