My VZW phone is still running 4.4.4.
Never offered an update, though I wouldn't take it even if it did.

The phone comes preloaded with lollypop. That's what I'm nervous about It totally messed up my S5

From everything I could find online VZW has not released Lollipop for the Edge, only the regular note has it.

And the product page on VZW.com still shows it comes with 4.4.4.

DROR. A whole new meaning.

Here we go! Now I need a privacy screen protector. Most online have reviews that say it doesn't fit the whole screen.

Ok I got the note edge and as soon as I turn it on it offers me the option to upgrade to lollipop.

I have that too. really annoying. In fact, I am thinking about returning the phone due to its size. (plus any case will make it even bigger).

only issue is what phone to get. the S6 would be a downgrade from my S5 IMO.

I have only a screen protector on. Dropped it many times without issue.

A week. The size really makes it hard for one hand use. also i cant seem to find a privacy screen protector. (maybe a regular note 4 one would work)

Do you know how to swipe to make the screen smaller for one-handed use?
Did you add the power button to your edge?

It's a great phone.
I'll be very bummed if they don't continue the functional edge screen in the future. Can't see myself going back to a non-edge phone.
