Trying to book nyc -lhr for next week and it gets me $ 266 for each ticket , why is that ? And can I lower it ?And I see ba flights is more expensive evenIs there some flights that will get me cheaper?
Don't leave from THE UK and you will save money from no UK taxes. Any flights that's New York or anywhere to London Heathrow and back will have those same fees
There is no need to repost. You will not get lower than that because of taxes, taxes cannot be lowered. British airways flights are more expensive because the ad on the fuel fees. Don't leave from London and you will save money from no UK taxes. Any flights that's New York or anywhere to London Heathrow and back will have those same fees
An other airport in london will be cheaper ? And if I use ba points how much will it be?
have biz class ticket phl-tlv booked with aa miles lap-child will cost me around $400 is there anyway to pay less? what is us air policy for lap-child? maybe adding the lap-child in airport will save me the hefty fee
Anyway upgrading an AA award book with avios?
I want to make a booking thru aa flying from jfk to lhr with a stop in mia ,only to catch an older person and fly together to lhr ,meaning only a short stop , can I get it with same 40k aa points ? Without extra points and tax ?Thanks
It's probably 10% of the fare, don't know if there is a way around it.
First check if there is such a routing when you plug-in jfk-lhr.If not then See if it prices out more miles on the multi city search.
It doesn't give me that route and by multi city search it asks 12.5k for each way nyc to mia , but lhr to mia it gave me a route with a stop in jfk one of the options
i wonder if i will add the lap-child in the airport i will be able to pay less? also is it too risky to add lap-child at the airport?
It's not risky to add at gate, the question is if it will cost any less for the fare at the airport?Probably just the opposite, the closer it gets to the flying date the fare might go up in price.
Nyc is probably a bigger gateway city then mia so that makes sense.Either way it seems it cost more...
us air rep confirmed that us air calculate lap-child the same way as AA 10% of the fare so i guess i wont get anything by adding child at the gate i wish international will be like domestic flight that you can just add them by the gate without paying the 10%
LOL, I booked mine with BA came out to be around $400 for all the taxes from tlv-phl including the infant. Not sure when you booked, but if you did in the past couple weeks you should have went the ba route. It would have been cheaper with the promo then AA.
