Unless you "flip it" in person, the return you will make is comparable to anything else you can sell on eBay, and not worth it IMO. I have been onto this for a while and tried many different routes. The best you can do is to buy limited edition pods, wait for them to be OOS and then sell them, and you can expect a 30% return. For me, it is still not worth the hassle.

There's a dozen companies selling generics. And they pretty much all suck.
I haven't seen any companies that use aluminum pods like Nespresso.

This company in particular has bad reviews on Amazon, 2.9 stars.

The coffee is grounded, placed in a pod, and sits in a warehouse until its sold.

You can grind your own and use reusable nespresso pods. But then why go for a nespresso machine at all if you won't be using their pods? Just get an automatic espresso maker.

Not cheap enough for me to try ($.60 vs $.70 if just stay with Nespresso brand) but good to keep an eye on them in case it goes on sale or if you have an Amazon credit or deal. They also have on their website for about $.35 a pod but no shipping to the US.

There are a lot of people who make nespresso compatible pods that are much cheaper than the original nespresso.

I generally buy the BestPresso brand - you can find a 120ct variety box on Amazon for about $40 - or $0.33 a capsule. There are some that might be lower than that - I've seen one or two that are $25 for 100.

Cheaper but as of now nothing comes close to original Nespresso pods.
