Anyone ever tried united economy plus?
I'm flying from lax to maui and there is this option for an extra $49 per person per one way...
Roundtrip for the 3 tix is 294
I'd only consider if someone here has tried it and that it makes a big difference...

I'd pay $49 for the extra legroom for such a long flight, but I get it free anyway as a united 3P.

Well in the past Igo and tell them that I hurt my knee(which I did.) or I get nauchus and or caustropohobic and usually they just give me it for free and if they don't budge and say you have to pay you can pay for it at the gat if I were you my best bet would be to go talk to them at the gate and if they don't ask them for bulkhead which gives you more legroom could be even more or a exit row and worst comes to worst u can jus purchase it oveR by the gaTe.

i got a premier membership because somone recommended me who was a platinum whatever
and i got an upgrade from him aswell

im not sure what 3p is but if its an elite statuts, i dont have any status with united or any miles either... i ended up just staying in economy and thank g-d got a couple extra seats for kids...
btw, fairmont kea lani is great, thanks to "tagent" the flight attendant that hooked me up on this forum... he came through...
as a separate tip i also saved 14.50 a night with free internet access by signing up for fairmont presidents club for free...
294 wasnt for the tix that was for the cost of the e+ upgrade roundtrip for 3 tix

Seatguru doesn't give an accurate pitch, but I'd guesstimate that E+ has a 36" pitch versus 31" pitch in E-.
Of course most of the pitch is the seat itself, so it could be nearly double the actual legroom.

thanks. i was going to use my $200 plat airfare $ but I'd rather pocket it(thanks platinum guy)
