If I upgrade to EP is there a better chance of upgrade to biz?

Right now I am in class Y (only earns 50% on A3) If I upgrade to EP does my class change and will I be able to earn 100%?

E+ doesn't change your ticket class on United, but you should double check what Y earns. I'm pretty sure its 100%

I really want to but it would really be worth it if I can get 100% to A3. You guys sure when you get E+ your class doesnt change??

%1,000,000

Seat assignments have nothing to do with fare class. It's possible for someone with W class to be sitting bulkhead just past business, while a full Y fare passenger is stuck in a middle seat in the back, inhaling fumes from the bathroom.

Paying for E+ just unlocks the ability to choose certain seats on the map, seats which Gold (or higher) can already select for free.

I couldnt find a thread for this so Im posting here:

How different is economy + then regular economy? is it worth for $107.
ewr - tlv

I just flew that specific route that you're asking about, and in Economy Plus.

IMHO it ain't worth it.  I'd have much more rathered a window seat.  Having a bit more legroom didn't make it easier for me to snooze.
Only one man's opinion.

Any one recently flew E+ (tlv-ewr) and think it was worth the extra money?

to me it was worth it, but to you it may not....E+ is exactly what they claim it to be (extra legroom/recline)

I'm assuming (as the name of the thread states) you're talking about UA;

A) Yes (EWR-TLV).
B) No, unless it's a window seat. Just MHO.

Why is window E+ better than non window E+?
