Windows 7 or newer
An active internet connection
Administrator rights

as of now microsoft has activated windows 10 on pc's that were "cracked" with either daz loader or kms

Maybe I'm missing something, but it looks like "sleep" is not working (I have to turn the laptop off and back on in order to get it to wake up).

try updating graphics drivers
also make sure its enabled in bios

how old is your laptop? specs?
did you do a clean install?

I did it via the media creation tool and selected upgrade.
Laptop is 3 years old, lenovo i5, 8gb ram, 500gb hard drive.
Restarted a few times but no go.
Didn't try a clean install as I don't want to lose all my programs and data.
Might have to roll back to 7, but hope I don't lose anything if i do that

weird issues... i haven't came across that yet
ive come across a touchpad scroll lag as well as search lag
which model lenovo is it
have you checked their site for updated drivers?

It's the lenovo z580
Is there a way for me to back up all my current programs and files and then do a clean install?

programs - not really
files - external drive, or whatever

clean install - use that media tool to get ISO to put on USB
