Topic Wiki

Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Can u pay an Amex cc bill from your red card account?  will that cause u to get shut down? Or f/r? Don't they see u just charged your cc onto a red card and now using those funds to pay the cc?
if youre worried, send the money to your bank account and then pay it

I did it 2 days ago and it was no problem. I also switch it up and send some funds back to my bank account and pay some from my redbird account. I also like using non-round numbers. 1950 from one account and the balance from another...

No worries.

Not planning on doing $200's there, but wouldn't want to ruin a good spot.

IIRC yesterday was the target focus group. anyone end up going? how was?

It was postponed till this coming Tuesday because their representative couldn't fly in, so I'll let you know next week! Guess you aren't going in the end?

Reloaded again today. Started keeping track of how long it takes to reload. Today was 17 seconds! ;D Love the ultra friendly folks at my local Target! Much nicer than the morons working down the street at Walmart. ::)
