I unloaded gift cards this morning on to RC and the cashier asked me after I swiped is it credit or debit. if they don't accept credit, I wonder why it still pops up on their screen

It doesn't. She was probably just asking in general. It automatically asks for pin. I think if you tried doing a cc it wouldn't work. I've never tried.

If you're lucky enough to find a store that will still sell you GD with a CC, the VGCs and MCGCs require a SSN to activate, and then they send you a permanent card which had limits, unless you use a workaround.

This new Target POS system will be causing much angst next month. Slow as can be. Took forever to loak 1k which was my limit tonight. They're really making it difficult.
