Credit Caurd Authorized User Question

Spouse opened up SPG card with me as an AU.  Terms state that when you add a spouse as an AU during application process spouse stays an AU for life and cant be removed.  I want to apply now for an spg card as well. Will they allow it or deny it because Im already an authorized user on my spouse SPG account?
