Hyatt Free Nights

We are planning a trip to Hawaii (Thanks DDF) and I was thinking of both my husband and I applying for the Chase Hyatt card which gives 2 free nights for spending $1K in three months. Then we would have 4 total nights. It says ANY hotel but it doesn't mention anything about blackout dates or award limits. Has anyone had a problem using the free nights? Anything I should know?

for starters you would want to know that there is a hyatt credit card thread ;)

Hi, Anyone tried giving an award night to a friend or selling it?? Any issues with checking in??
I have a booking on Wednesday, the 26th at Hyatt 5th Ave., i would sell it, if i can't make it... Please advise if you have done this before. Thanks.
The room that i booked is going for $571 today.

to book a free night, you have to search for a hotel with points availability, then call up and book?
