Have specific redemption of NYC-TLV in mind but have better alternatives like AC on LX. Cant seem to get off the fence on this one.

It depends how you value your points vs paying cash, remember you can always use 104k ANA for a RT but you'll have to pay YQ.

Minimal cash outlay is the goal. Also dont want to do RT. Have return mapped out on One World with minimal cash as well.

Least cash would be AC on LX or SK or whichever routing UA gives you.

AA doesnt charge insane fees. The BA-BA flight is more than 3 times as much.

I dont think it has anything to do with that. Fees are 4x as much eastbound with the same flights IIRC.

fuel surcharges are a lot more originating from the us as opposed to originating Israel, however if you would have the UK APD you would be paying an extra $197.60
