I want to book tlv-ord via MAD on IB.

Of course this is annoying because I need to call both ba and aa to get any info.
Does anyone know if my best deal will be BA avios IB avios or AA miles?
Thanks!

Definitely not BA (higher YQ)
in terms of AA vs IB, it depends on if they're part of IB off peak dates

ORD to NYC, OW this coming Sunday.  Assuming BA isn't an option (no good flights for our sched), would you:

A: Book directly via Amex Travel for 9000 MR per ticket
B: Transfer UR to Southwest for 9500 UR per ticket (leaning toward this), OR
C: Wait until Motzei Shabbat to see if more BA flights open up

?

i dont understand why you would rather spend an extra 500 UR vs using MR (plus MR would be a paid ticket then). Also if the price is $90 couldn't you just book through UR travel at a better rate?

Thx.  Didn't know using MR counts as a paid ticket.  Was leaning toward UR just because it was better timing.

Best way to book SYD-CNS?
Operators are QF, Virgin Australia, and jetstar

AA is 10K econ but I'd like to avoid using AA if possible, an MR partner would be amazing. EY requires 14 days and the flights are in less than a week-any thoughts? I think VAtlantic costs like 20k econ pp-not so great

Yes, and no close in booking fee.
It would be more than 10k MR though.

Life miles is not an option, and AC has high yq. What's the next best option?

If you're looking for no YQ, use UA. But the miles required goes way up.

Do the math of how many extra miles on UA vs. how much YQ is on AC to see what's more worth it for you.

That means you need 8 Delta or virgin America saver seats.

Seriously....
Just to be pedantic, you can use VA, it's 6.9k for Delta shorthaul
