If there would be Jews living in Yemen I'd be very interested, but as far as I know the only Jews remaining live in a secure compound in Saana, not interesting to me.

Now that I completed my Hard to get to places, (besides Syria) I'm in for some relaxing.

Top of my bucket list

1. MLE/and or BB
2. Hnl
3. BKK
4. African Safari. ( any advice?)

Hope to complete the top 3 by February.

I know several people who travel regularly to Erbil and it is considered very safe

Really intrigued by your trip reports, thanks for sharing! Just curious, not that I'm planning a trip to Iran or Iraq in the near future, but when you say "blend in" what are some of the things done to accomplish that as it would appear from an outsider's perspective that by default you would stick out like a sore thumb?
