I am flying to the Maldives next week - spending four nights there 1st night at FS Kuda, and next 3 at FS Giravaa - they officially have brand new dishes, and pots that they open for your person use when you arrive, and they store it separately, and supposedly they have frum people regularly and are "more than happy to accomodate us" etc.
Wondering if we could get more info on the Polar Bear Cooler.
I definitely do NOT need 50lb of frozen food - and i specifically am aiming to travel with a maximum of 10% more than i actually need.
My questions:
1. If i am bringing meat for 4 days - some Raw meat to be cooked there, some smoked meats for Shabbos all in all 4 meat meals (relying on fish/eggs from the hotel for the other meals)
would the 12 pack be big enough? or min 24? if 24 - would that fit into a typical hand luggage?
2. How long would ice stay frozen in there? nowadays lots of coolers will keep things frozen for nearly 4-5 days wth minor melting - how does this stack up?
3. If you have used it with ice packs - did you have issues getting through TSA since the packs are technically liquid
4. What foods are recommended to bring on a trip like this - where frozen space is so limited? and what foods were completely regretted?
TIA!!
