QF was extremely helpful, we flew in Y and they provided us with a foil pan and aluminum foil to double wrap the food we brought! They extremely friendly! I would still say YMMV, because the official rule its not to let, but be friendly to them they'll be friendly to you

Grrrrrrrrr I was checking in with my friend for a UA EWR-TLV flight in J (revenue ticket) and OMG these guys there are sooo nasty. His luggage was just 71 lb and they made him pay $200 for the extra lb. The check in agent claimed that its a FAA regulation

what these monkeys manage to come up with. He even called the supervisor and the supervisor agreed. So I asked them how come I can bribe them to break the FAA law for $200...

Never is he going to fly UA again. Back to DL. And UA wants to know why they keep on loosing money. Of course, treat a customer who paid 4k for a ticket like a dog and expect to have these customers come back. Mr smisek, Zeh Lu Uved Kachah.

it was one big box in the suit case. And i told him he should pay and send an email to customer care later explain how nasty they all were. The guy was screaming "holy s***" and the like...

And after all the bag never arrived TLV. Im on my way to EWR now hope to find it. Ill ask the guy to at least refund the bag fee, lets see if he will bother. I am not holding my breath.

i actually think they are right about that. theres way more flexibility at 51 pounds vs 71 pounds. it has to do with liability issues and injuries to baggage handlers

Then why does $200 make those issues go away?

not that i agree. But this was not the reason gives. The reason given was something that has to do with holy s*** and FAA regulations.

TG has microwaves! Unlike most airlines, NH let's you warn up in their oven, they asked me to unwrap the double seal which was plastic, but they gave me aluminum foil to rewrap it
