Flight Aircraft History
« on: November 18, 2014, 10:18:14 PM »
Is there a site I can look up which type of aircraft was used for a certain flight over a year ago?

For example, I flew AA692 in June of 2013, and I would like to know which aircraft it was.

Looking up archived AA emails was not of any help.

I think flightaware.com offers something like this. It's not free though.

No, it was not.

I'm asking for that flight over a year ago, when it wasn't even flying on that route.

It was MIA-EWR.

Now how do I figure out type of aircraft?

Flightaware seems to only have 4 months for free, but they say up to 1998 for paying members

You can always write to the airline and ask. Explain why though...

Is this supposed to be for domestic only? It's giving me a hard time with most international airport codes.

Their history seems to go back only a week or so. Or am I missing something?

If you haven't figured it out by now, they seem to always be 1-3 months behind. In the end it'll show up though.
