HELP Canceling an Orbitz flight reservation

Is there any way to cancel an Orbitz flight reservation with no/minimal penalty? The flight is one Continental and is (officially) non-refundable.

Even until midnight the day after Orbitz will often let you cancel for free.

Call them. Just did it 2 days ago, took 5 minutes on the phone.

thanks, just canceled, some Indian guy had put me 30 minutes on  hold for one stupid cancelation, I saw online 2 minutes later that it was canceled, I stayed on the phone just for the fun of it, after 30 minute when he came back I asked him why does it have to take 30 minutes,  he answered that he had kind of error, so why did I see right away online when you put me on hold that it's canceled, he didn't know what to answer me, I literally knocked down the phone after a minute.
