No, that part of the site was working for me. However, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to check availability by phone too.

I didn't.  I held on for another 46 minute wait and got a live rep around 1:15 or so.  It took another 45 minutes for her to straighten out all of my reservations.  She honored my full price reservation at 40 off.  They had extended the 40 off until 2pm so I'm glad I was banking on that.
