Did they help you?
I found the new York website to be surprisingly good.

Yes they were very helpful in going over my options. I tried to do it myself but the marketplace website was not allowing me to sign up, and he fixed the issue for me also. I spoke to Sruli Miller, but he's hard to reach so you could also speak to Ari.

A heads up for those using the ny website. The filter that allows you to search for plans that your doctor takes is completely inaccurate and no bearing on reality. So do not rely on that when choosing plans. I Learnt the hard way....

Seriously..... That is all the info you are giving and based on that you are expecting an answer that is reasonable? Besides,  why not ask someone in lakewood who actually knows....

Check to see which ones your doctors take. Then move along from there.

is the bottom line that if my job offers health insurance I shouldn't even waste time looking on marketplace?

you can look, but you are legally not elegible for a subsidy if your employer or spouses employer offers you health insurance

Maybe the company plan is very expensive and too much for your needs. If yes, then look at marketplace and save some money.

you could go to the exchange and buy a plan there but you will not be eligible for a subsidy without lying and saying that your employer does not offer health insurance. the only way out is if the employers plan is if the employer plan does not meet minimum value standard, (which is highly unlikely)

Right. The quotes I got on market when selecting yes to "employer offers insurance" were $1k+ month!
When selecting no they were closer to $500
