just looked on their website didn't notice any airline cards  not sure what you're referring to…….. also didn't see this card discussed at all on any threads thats why i brought it up but i guess theres good reason for that being that theres no bonus offer ,even though u can make additional users for free and cash out out on sbs…..                                                                                                                                       (and btw the  username is just cuz it makes me laugh when i read it ;D)

I just got an offer for the First National Bank Omaha Amex card. It gives unlimited 1.5% cashback on all purchases. Is this a good deal to waste a credit pull on? Am I missing s/t?
Thanks.

You can do much better than 1.5%.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I don't think their 6% card is around any longer.

Why, you think 1.5 cb is the best available?  :P

Ok, let me clarify: Besides bonus categories and minimum spend requirements, I use the Amex ED card. That offers 1.2% MR. So this sounds better, if you value MR at $.01. But on second thought, MR is worth at least $.015, so it comes out to $.018, which is better than this Omaha card. But really the question is: what is the best (no fee) card for everyday spend. I assume the ED card. Am I making a mistake? Thanks.

As does citi double cash and fidelity. And EDP is 1.5%, which is also the equivalent of 2%.

Yes, but it has a fee, and 2.2 isn't CB; it's only for travel credits.

EDP has a fee, and a whopping pain of 30 transactions. I'm not familiar with the other 2...

How much are you spending a year on the card?

Very hard to say, because of minimum spends that come and go...

Unless you're spending a lot, it's pretty hard to justify a pull for 1.5%. And if you're spending a lot, you can do better.
