getting from FLL to Miami
« on: January 03, 2011, 11:11:58 AM »
Not sure which thread to post this in so I'm asking here. What's the cheapest way to get from Ft Lauderdale to Miami? I won't be renting a car.

I'm pretty sure you can take a city bus for a few dollars, here are some links I found when Googling.

I was thinking more in terms of a taxi. Public transportation with luggage is not my ideal way to start a vacation  :)

My guess is that it will cost $$$$$ to do such a long trip  by taxi.

that will be i would guestemate about an $85 taxi ride. there are shared shuttled service that you can try.

http://www.floridalimo.com/

There is a heimish car service in the Miami metro area as well. Im sry as i dont have his info. i will try to find it.

If you go along the beach im sure it will be a really nice walk. :)

Or find someone that lives there that wouldnt mind driving you. FLL is very close to the NMB Community

I'm assuming this applies to FLL as well, but in MIA there are strictly enforced pricing on cabs, and it was very reasonable.

There is always Supershuttle then there is also a shared cab that Might be around 40pp and if no one comes within a certain amount of time they put you in the cab alone

Thanks. I checked floridalimo.com - it's probably more worth it to fly directly to MIA.

Supershuttle doesn't go from FLL only to FLL.
