At first it is an annoyance that my hand can't reach the first screen. But the Note 4 has a very easy one handed gesture that shrinks the screen when you need to use it like that. And it's pretty rare that you need to use it like that.

Try it for 14 days and I'll be very surprised if you don't love it. I wouldn't wait for the Note 5. Wouldn't be surprised if they go internal battery/memory on that too.
Planned obsolescence is all the rage.

What are BR gloves?

I'm torn, as I paid full price for my s5 when my old phone broke, so i have an upgrade waiting to be used, but at this point I'm thinking to wait for note 5 to see what it is, and worse comes to worse I get a cheaper note 4.

The truth is that wen I saw the note edge I was very tempted. How's the battery life? what phone did you have before and how does it compare?

Had the S4 for a while and then tried out the note 4 for 2.5 months thanks to BB holiday return policy.

Note edge destroys both. And owns the S6 hands down.

Alas I'm afraid it'll be the last removable battery class leader phone.

Edge on the s6 has much less useability than on the note. Less features.

I don't get it. Are they trying to win over iPhone users? I'd say they'll be unsuccessful 95% of the time. Why are they dropping their existing customer base (Look in this thread and you'll see that most existing customers are upset about this change)?

I would upgrade right now from the s5 to the s6, but why did they take away the sd card slot and the waterproofing??

they went with the better look (SD card) which the tech sites seem to love, and waterproofing costs them more and they had a bad 2014, so they are cutting some corners.

Really don't get the point of the edge now that they stripped away the app launcher and other uses it has on the note.

And an edge on both sides just means it will be hard to grip.

Shame, I would pay more for the waterproofing, maybe they'll come out with an active edition like they have done in the past.
