Ba.com
If there are no available BA flights for your dates they offer to search Partner availability.

Check on BA.com and asiamiles.com.
You need an account for both, but you don't need miles.

Sometimes asiamiles shows full and BA shows available.  Sometimes asiamiles shows available and BA doesn't.

IME if either show "available" then AA can book it!

Not correct. Often, AsiaMiles will have seats available that are NOT available for AA bookings. Its usually the last seat on N.America flights

Like I said "IME"

I spent considerable time planning my current trip and AA was always able to get what BA or CX showed as available.  And I make dozens of bookings and held itins until I got it right.  Now sometimes CX shows phantom availability for a seat on the flex calendar view but when you click on the date it comes back as not available-I'm obviously not counting that.

YMMV I suppose.

I just call AA, fedup of disappointments.

Anyway to change my voice via an app or so?

As I call out of hours, I quite often land on a certain mrs schreiber, among others...

You have called a dozen times in what time span?

I have currently about 20 bookings on hold, and a non-usa accent...

First of all I now know the issue you are having, I don't call all that often in a small time frame. If your offer abt calling was a real one and not sarcastic you can pm me details I will gladly call for you (although as of now I don't think we are friends)

btw a trick i found to be very very helpful in getting what you want from a csr is after one or two minutes of being helpful you ask them for their name and their supervisors email address you want to report them for being so helpful. (about 20 years ago when an airline called pan am was around, this got my father free upgrades whenever he flew)  :)

Perhaps this is (one reason) why they're no longer in business...

(I'm not saying he himself made them go bankrupt, but it makes me wonder about their policies...)
