Just got a rental midsize for 158 for 9 days in Israel to be picked up at airport and dropped off. So cool!

You will still have to pay liability insurance in Israel. Chase card only gets you CDW waiver.

Common misconception.

The credit card will probably cover you for any damage encountered by your car.

Any damage incurred by another vehicle you will have to pay for (or buy insurance in advance).

So, worst case scenario, a guy in a Lamborghini hits you and totals his car. You either pay for it, or get a lawyer to try prove it wasn't your fault (or pay for liability insurance).

Hmmm, my understanding is that Citi would be the most expensive of the lot...

At least this company knows which card your using. I hate the companies that make you select what kind of card your using (Visa/Amex/MC etc). As if they couldn't tell by the number.

i thought sapphire covers your collision?
