All jokes aside, the moral of this thread is that you should not trust someone just because he/she/they/it is a DDFer. Investigate before you put yourself at risk. Take into consideration the number of posts and the content of those posts (and your gut feeling).
Contact Henche if you got scammed.

Yeah, think sites like Yelp. Much of it is manipulation

BOTOH sites like Ebay are pretty reliable. Especially for the ppl selling stuff there should be some sort of a system as there is no way of knowing good from bad.
Work hard, Play harder!

There was another thread about this once upon a time where the person reached out to a mod and it had a happy ending.

that would be great. Especially those of us who have known Dan since high school. Builds trust. Can have a ratings and points system.
It's been tried before & the threads ended up in area 51.

I've had people charge back their seminar admissions.
Luckily, just an honest mistake.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Everything went smoothly until the provider called me this morning asking why i cancelled the payment on the credit card. i dont want to get into more details because i dont want to expose the person until hes had the chance to make good

any admins here that can PM me to discuss further would be appreciated.

Its a long story and I don't have patience to type it up now but basically I'm very good at tracking "anonymous" people down

There has been a few very similar threads over the years... were they deleted?
Either way, in the end I think one of the moderators were able to sort everything out.
