I'd try to call Amex and see what happened and if they'll honor the bonus.

Was the transfer over the phone or online?

Why didn't you verify that it went though (transfers instantly, just need to log out/in of BA account)

Was there a name discrepancy on the accounts? That won't go through.

called,they have no record,transfered up the ladder (on the phone now)they will not do anything

i had this a few weeks ago with a transfer to jetblue. i called and they also had no record. they just processed by phone instantly

are you sure you finalized the transfer ? on the lasst page when you do transfer did it show your new balance?

yes and if i remember correclty i even got the email from amex

If you have the email I assume you can use that as proof when contacting them

Mordyk's problem was solved.  Not raf's.
raf- do you have an email confirmation or any other proof that you tried to make the transfer?

I had that once when I thought I cancelled a BA flight and didn't. Everything looked good, since they were telling me what I would get refunded after the cancellation,  but I din't click the 'confirm' button, so it didn't happen.
I don't think I got an email confirming my MR --> BA.  Although I did get a confirmation linking my BA account to my MR account. 


advice: call and call again.  Perhaps you'll get a sympathetic rep.  But don't count on it.

No email confirmation, i transfered 100k that was available in my account, after the transfer i saw that 4k was pending so i called and had them make it available (so i can transfer)i tried using it as proof that why would i care to make 4k available if i had 100k points doing nothing,meanwhile it did not work

Now they are telling me that the promo was only valid untill the 31st of jan. not the 31st itself. any proof that i can provide? does anyone have a screenshot of 100k transfer (without a confirmatio)n that i can use?

well thats probably why you were resolved. raf probably never finished the transfer
