Help: Anybody with spg Plat?

I want to reserve a night (this friday, January 21) at the Westin Taipei with points / cash & points but there seem to be no avalability.
Is there anyone with plat that could get better availability?

SPG Plat line won't help.
Only chance is calling the hotel directly and beg.

That's different.
SPG.com has has a bug for years that it doesn't always show C+P avaialbility.  There won't be any difference which SPG number you call-they all can access that inventory.
I'm just saying if there really is no C+P inventory then even the Plat line can't do anything.  It's all in the hotels hands when to open that up (if they decide to at all)

I gave her my details and she booked me the room with c&p!
She never asked me if I'm plat!!

(I think I was lucky though... A daink der oybershter)
