Can I ask people to sponsor me for Bike 4 Chai on the forums?
« on: February 18, 2015, 10:02:07 AM »
I am not sure if this is against forum rules, if it is, please remove.
I plan on joining Bike 4 Chai this year.  Bike 4 Chai is a 180 mile ride that starts in Stamford Connecticut and ends in Camp Simcha.  It is a fundraiser for Camp Simcha and Chai Lifeline.  My goal is to raise at least $3600 to help this organization and any help would be greatly appreciated!  If you'd like to donate you can do so using my link below.

Chai Lifeline is an international organization that provides year-round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 4,000 children and their families. Chai Lifeline's goal is to bring joy to children and hope to their families, enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Their most famous program is Camp Simcha (and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special); every year these two camps offer more than 400 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. (To learn more about Chai Lifeline, visit its website, www.chailifeline.org.)

Sometimes I click the notify button just to watch a stranger get pummeled. I'm a bad person.

I don't see this happening on this one or am I missing something?

ETA: Does the donation go you or directly to Chai?
I just found a new supply of forks!

Good luck brah! seems like ur half way there,

CM im confused, someone who used to give away ebay coupons always said give half of the coupon to any charity or to camp sim-cha. this is the same camp, just helps a guy get to his goal in raising money and he stays in shape.
If you have any questions please search and then ask. PM me for detailed help.

That would be against the rules, the PC Master Thread is not allowed to be used for anything useful.

There are hundreds of people in the community who run these races to money for one tzedaka or another. I guess if it doesn't become overwhleming...
